Rob McKenna: Represent me not the insurance companies

Attorney General McKenna:
 
You are not acting in the public’s interest as Attorney General by joining a frivolous lawsuit attacking the constitutionality of our federal health care law.   
 
You are not legally representing the State of Washington, as Governor Gregoire has said. 
 
Your legal challenge has no merit.  
 
Your actions will hurt 1.5 million Washingtonians who need better health care.  
 
We urge you: 
  • Reject this priority agenda item of the extremist right wing. 
  • Do not waste public money on this baseless, partisan political battle.
  • Withdraw the State of Washington from this case.
  • Support the implementation of this law, do not attack it to destroy it.
