Become an Intern

The Washington State Democratic Party is seeking interns for Winter Quarter 2009.

These are unpaid positions; interns may be able to earn class credit for completing the internship. The exact start date, end date, duration, and hours of availability are flexible depending on the needs of the intern. A minimum of two days and 10 hours per week is expected. Interns do not necessarily have to be studying politics, and students in different courses of study are encouraged to apply.

Please send a cover letter explaining why you are interested in this internship and in which department you are interested in working. Also include a one page resume and list three references. (If you are applying for the Communications Internship, you must submit a 250 word writing sample.) Submit the documents to Greg Haffner at gregh@wa-democrats.org. If you cannot provide the information requested, this does not eliminate you from being an intern. Contact Greg with your questions or concerns.
