During even-numbered election years, the best way you can help our mission is to volunteer for or contribute to a campaign. However, we want you to stay involved with the Party after elections and during off-years. This page describes ways you can get involved with the Party on a longer term basis.

Get involved locally
Each legislative district and most counties have a local Democratic Party organization. They hold monthly meetings, recruit and manage PCOs and volunteers for your area, and campaign for local Democratic candidates.
Become a PCO
PCOs, or precinct committee officers, are the building block of the Democratic Party. They are the grassroots organizing base for all of our activities. PCOs are essential to Party work, because they personally communicate the Democratic Party message to people in each neighborhood across the state.
Become an intern
Internships are a great way to learn about how the Party works. We accept interns in the Development/Event Planning, New Media, Technology, and Event Planning Departments.
