DESCRIPTION:You do not have to be present at the LD caucuses to win; as long as you submit a statement of candidacy\, your name will appear on the ballot at your LD caucus. You may submit a brief letter to be read as your candidate speech to the caucus chair (Keep it brief – it must fit into the time allotted for each candidate to speak) or send a representative to run on behalf of you at the LD caucus. We also recommend pre- registering here. If you fail to appear on the ballot at your LD caucus\, you can still run for national delegate at the Congressional District caucuses on May 30th\, though you will not be able to vote for these delegates because you were not elected as a delegate at your LD caucus. \n  \nPre-Register to the Washington State 2020 Democratic Legislative District Caucus here: wademscaucus2020.azurewebsites.net.
