Republican voters in Illinois went to the polls today, choosing Mitt Romney as their nominee. Illinois became the 34th state to choose a Republican candidate for the 2012 presidential election.

Yet one Republican still won’t tell us who he is choosing — Rob McKenna.

“In the two weeks since Republican voters in Washington showed Rob McKenna how it’s done, 21 other states have chosen a candidate for the GOP nomination,” said Benton Strong, communications director for the Washington State Democrats. “But McKenna continues to remain silent on who he supports. Clearly he is hoping to dodge questions about whether he agrees with leading Republican candidates like Mitt Romney, who has voiced support for getting rid of Planned Parenthood and limiting access to contraception. When will McKenna tell us which candidate’s anti-women’s health stance he lines up with most?”
