Chair Podlodowski’s Statement on Boulder Shootings

SEATTLE — Democratic Party Chair Tina Podlodowski offered the following statement on yesterday’s mass shooting in Boulder, Colorado:
“All of our hearts are breaking with the news of another senseless mass shooting this week. As we honor and remember the 10 people lost in this tragedy, we must redouble our commitment to prevent this kind of thing from happening again. Gun violence is preventable, and our children and grandchildren shouldn’t have to grow up in a world where these tragedies are normal. Americans deserve better than an epidemic of gun violence in our homes, schools, and communities.”
