Today in his State of the State speech, Governor Inslee posed this question —

Will we create a Washington that works for everyone, or will we stand by as our schools, environment, and communities get weaker?

Yesterday was the first day of the 2015 legislative session. Over the next 104 days, lawmakers will have many opportunities to ask themselves this question.

Governor Inslee has laid out a plan that passes a healthier, safer, more fair Washington on to our kids. It makes record investments in education, makes our road and bridges safer, creates jobs, provides for healthy air and water, and creates a fairer tax system.

Will you add your name and support Governor Inslee’s plan for reinvesting in Washington?

On day one of the legislative session, Republicans in the State Senate sided with the wealthy and special interests at the expense of our kids.

That’s not the path that I want for Washington. If it isn’t the path you want either, it’s absolutely critical that grassroots Democrats like you make your voice heard.

Do you want a strong education system? Do you want clean air and water? Do you want to fix Washington’s tax system, which ranks as the most unfair in the nation?

We need to hear from you: Add your name and support Governor Inslee’s plan for reinvesting in Washington today.
